Atlanta Personal Trainer to Share Tips on Getting in Shape for the New Year

ATLANTA, GA, December 5, 2011 – If you’re tired of making working out or losing weight your New Year’s resolution, personal trainer Sloan is sharing his advice for being successful in 2012. “New Year, New Rear” is Sloan’s campaign to help Americans get off the couch and get fit for life. Sloan will take his message to a national audience as part of The Medical Minute segment that airs on CNN.

“Losing weight is always the number one New Year’s resolution, but it’s usually broken in a matter of weeks,” said Sloan. “I want to help more Americans keep their fitness resolutions with a simple strategy that will help shed the pounds and lead to a healthier lifestyle.”

The Medical Minute is a regular feature on CNN, the Headline News Network (HLN) and on more than 800 network affiliates across the U.S. The 60-second segments highlight a variety of health and medical-related topics.

Sloan is one of Atlanta’s most successful personal trainers with more than 17 years of experience. The former NFL athlete is known for his no-nonsense style that motivates clients and gets results. Most recently, Sloan was the exclusive personal trainer for the Wellstar Hospital Weight Loss Challenge featured on WXIA-TV. Sloan put the two teams through an intensive fitness regimen during the competition-style weight loss program.
